Lineages and Lands: Simone Harris facilitating Sunday 11/16

Hello community of practice,

I am excited to share that Simone will be facilitating our collective movement practice on Sunday 11/16, 8 a.m.- 8:30 a.m. PT with possibility for reflection as a community afterwards. It will circulate around lineages and lands. Gratitude to Simone for suggesting and offering. We are so lucky to be gifted with her facilitation as she brings a range of experience, wisdoms, and practices.

WHEN: Sunday, 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. PT with reflection until 8:45ish

WHERE: https://pitzer.zoom.us/j/513664738

HOW: Come as you are, with humility, open-heart, and kindness.

Named “emotional recovery covenant,” Simone writes: “The Emotional Recovery journey is a community of practice. A very dynamic practice that works on cultivating deep listening, grounded safety, & a culture of connection that acknowledges our full humanity as complex humans. This journey takes a restorative approach to providing healing interventions that helps restore peace and wellbeing during times of change, loss, births, deaths, conflicts, disasters, & other emotionally intense life transitions of all kinds.

These well circles support individuals and groups to integrate experiences of trauma, recover their sovereignty, repair deep connection to self & each other, and rebuild constraining systems into ones that considers everyone’s safety. Whether you need support with your individual, family, work, or community relationships, the Emotional Recovery Covenant meets all care partners where they are, handling every experience carefully, intimately, & intentionally.

Through these culturally-affirming, communal convenings, together we can mitigate the challenging impacts of trauma on our physical, emotional, & mental health across generations mind, body, & spirit.”

Take a delightful and insightful journey on her web site Dana accepted for Simone. Deep gratitude for her teaching.
