Replenish in community so we may co-create peace and justice for all

Hello, Community,
I hope you are feeling resourced and connected given the times. We had a joyous practice this morning with Simone, Bonnie, Kuwa Jasiri, Penny, Simone’s great nephew, Debbie, and Liz.  We reflected on what it means to be with changes as they arrive, to be with bodies/spirits/hearts in pain, and to express gratitude to elders.

 Our next practice is Saturday 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. PT.

NOTE: SCHEDULING CHANGE NEXT WEEK: No class on Thu 2/20 due to neurology appointment — I get to see my brain MRI after the traumatic brain injury. Exciting!

******. HOW DOES THIS WORK?****
As Liz, says “come as you are.”  All are welcome. Open and suitable to all. No reservation necessary. Drop in. Come late, leave early.  Furry family and human family are welcome.

I offer this in the spirit of generosity.  At the end of the month, consider offering an action based on what you received from the sessions.  If you have time and capacity consider one of the following related to nourishing genuine security for all:

* Donating to folks on the ground in Gaza for food, clean water, medical treatment: Middle Eastern Children Alliance (MECA)

* Donating to our community partner Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity

* Donating to our community partner Women for Genuine Security

* Take an action of your own choice to support genuine security (vs. militarism).

Poems, drawings, photos, a letter are welcome as alternatives.  At the end of the month, send to kathyyep@yahoo.com or to K. Yep, PO Box 1313 Monterey Park CA 91754.

No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

May our qì gōng practice for the benefit of all so all beings do no harm and be free from harm.  May we imagine and create the qì conditions  — where all may live from a place of abundance and interconnectedness.

Be well,
Kathy
